The Ebola outbreak thus far has claimed the lives of 932 people and has many people on edge questioning every sneeze and cough. The disease has moved from the borders of Sierra Leon and has caused the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to raise their emergency response to the Ebola outbreak to level 1. This is the highest level of emergency response at the CDC.
During such a sensitive time around the globe—negating what is taking place in Iraq, Russia, and the Ukraine—the CDC is like EF Hutton, people are stopping to listen to everything they have to say. Heading up the CDC is Tom Frieden, Director of the CDC. Who is Tom Frieden?
