Former Southern defensive back and newly enshrined Hall of Fame safety Aeneas Williams has become one of many people to be impacted by the recent events that have transpired in Ferguson, Mo. in the wake of the shooting death of 17-year-old Michael Brown.
Williams, who is a pastor at Spirit Church in St. Louis County, said he was asked by Ferguson Mayor James Knowles to bring “calm and stability” to the volatile area.
The NFL Network followed Williams as he spoke with residents at a rally in Ferguson.
“Being a pastor of this community anything I can do to be an influence to help – I’m willing to do it,” Williams said. Read More.
